Prudential Construction practices construction
management with the belief that every member of the building team - owner,
architect, engineer and contractor - views a project from an expert vantage
point. Those special perspectives do not get lost in the bureaucracy with
Prudential Construction. We are a service-oriented firm. We work
with all parties to communicate and coordinate differing perspectives to make
the project the best that it can be.
Internally, our company is organized to facilitate
top-quality job performance. A specially assigned project manager handles
the daily operation of each project, and a superintendent manages the flow of
each job to completion. While general contractors are often at the mercy
of material suppliers and subcontractors, we have a pre-qualification process
that works to maximize the strengths of our vendors. The result is a
support network through Prudential Construction that helps control cost and
increase quality.
In addition to new construction, masonry
projects, retail buildings, tilt-up buildings and tenant improvement
services, Prudential Construction offers a number of resources to its
clients:
- Conceptual Estimating:
Based on broad building experience and computer cost
data, we can estimate the cost of a project before money is invested in
planning, design and engineering. We can also provide first generation
drawings.
These preliminary drawings assist tenants, users or building owners in
determining what may be suitable for different facility layouts. We
then transfer this information to the architect of your choice to provide
complete working drawings. We also can provide an architect if you choose to have us design
build the project.
- Budget Estimating:
For brokers, owners, tenants or clients, we can take
sketch drawings, phone descriptions or preliminary drawings and quickly
provide cost estimates.
- Value Engineering:
Keeping up with the latest trends and methods for
selecting the materials and building process for your building structure, mechanical, plumbing,
electrical, etc. is our
job - not the clients'. We do our homework in these areas, as well as
in safety codes, fire regulations and other parameters necessary for a
top-quality building.
